Vanuatu second in the Pacific by GDP growth in 2017
Vanuatu on the second place among Pacific countries by GDP growth in 2017, according to the new Pacific Economic Monitor report by ADB.
GDP in Vanuatu in 2017 expected to grow by 4.5%. The biggest growth of GDP in the Pacific will be experienced by Cook Islands – 5%, while Palau is at the bottom of the list with projected GDP decrease by 0.5% in 2017.
In 2018 experts estimate Vanuatu’s GDP to grow by 4%, which is lower than projections for Timor-Leste (6%) and Cook Islands (5%), but higher than all the other countries of the region.
